An old style theater that shows indie films. Sloping sitting rather than stepped, small screen, and small bathrooms but a beautiful theater.
This is an amazing and historical theater. Moving to Providence from New York, where I used to frequent Film Forum, I was worried that I will miss the well-curated auteur cinema Film Forum brought to New York. But, Avon is an amazing theater with excellent movie choices. I am really glad Avon is here in Providence.
