Be careful of this store, its mean owner, and two vicious dogs. When I tried to go into the store with my dog, the owner's dogs attacked him, chased him out to the street and bit and nipped at him. Instead of apologizing, the owner called me stupid for bringing the dog in. The vicious dogs were out of site behind the counter when I walked by, and we were taken by surprise after walking in. Who would have thought that a store that is trying to sell dog items needs to put up a sign that other dogs are not welcome?
Had a great experience. I had my dog groomed there, for a reasonable price. Very happy with my experience. When I arrived my dog was not in a cage
I clearly and specifically asked the ears to be plucked and the dogs ( head, body, tail) to be comp-letely shaved down.
We had our two dogs (Morkies) groomed last week. I called the morning of and was able to get an appointment right away. The dogs were really matted and the groomer did an amazing job. Both dogs look great!
I sent pictures of the above and called Laurie, the owner, immediately. She was apologetic but defended Lindsay, the groomer. The essence of the conversation was that no one else has complained and that maybe Lindsay should not be grooming Bichons.
I just picked up by two 20 lb bichons from Plaid and Stripe. They were to have been completely shaved down. While driving back, I noticed that one dog's tail was not shaved, the outer fold of one dog's ear was caked in blood ( this looked like clean cut so I do not think it was scratched by the dog), and one dog's ears were not plucked.
, but hanging out in a room.
This is the second, and last chance, I have given to Lindsay to groom my dogs.
Robin's store is great. If you want great pet products, mostly for dogs, stop by. He caries holistic dry food which is great! Some other users had issues with his two dogs but I feel that is an isolated incident.
