Then there is the billing. They say there is a copay of 15$ on your Brown plan but it is actually a 20% of charge as your health insurance covers 80% (in my case).
The facility it self is sub par though. The main problem is that there is no room. There are about 5 PT's helping 8 to 10 people at a time in a space the size of a basement, if you claustrophobic don't go there.
The group setting with a TV was often distracting for everyone including the therapists. She did show me some stretches that really helped, but often they were too much and she re-injured my back.
They can not give you a itemized bill other then once a month and expect you to pay what ever they scribble on a post it note.
I saw Travis for treatment of a slip disc, and associated nerve and muscle pain. He was competent, helpful, and friendly. The staff was great about scheduling and rescheduling as needed. Most importantly, Travis' treatment was effective. We had a goal set of reducing my brutally high pain levels in time for my wedding. Travis responded well to my feedback, and helped my achieve my goal, even giving me follow up so that I did not re-injure during my honeymoon.
Also, I know of some one who was advised to get two treatments a week and who's appointments were set on consecutive day's. Filling the schedule obvious has priority over optimal treatment.
I once had a replacement while my trainer was away on a vacation, and my replacement was AMAZING. It wasn’t until I had him that I realized how much time I had wasted with the other trainer.
I really disliked my trainer. He was awkward and not very confident about his ability to do anything. It was uncomfortable to even have a conversation with him. The massages he would give we’re below par, and I never felt any more relieved after them. The guy basically reminded me of Gabe from The Office.
Elite physical Therapy provides top notch service. Their therapist work one on one with patients and stay with the same patient through the entire recovery. The staff is very friendly and make you feel like part of a large family. I had Travis as my therapist and highly recommend him! Not only did he provide me with great therapy he also went beyond the call to help me move out when I was unable to do it myself. You would be doing a disservice to choose any other phyical thearpy company in providence other than Elite!!!
Was in here about three years ago. I regret choosing this place after fracturing my spine. The room is SO small. You’re sharing the room with other patients, and there’s is no privacy while doing ANYTHING. You’re practically bumping into people and clients while trying to think about not re-injuring yourself.
I went twice a week to that place and spent so much money for basically nothing. I’m writing this review because I’m searching for a PT office for a recent injury, I wanted to make sure my voice was heard.
bye now.
Hi, I like the people working there, they made me feel comfortable and are very competent.
