Very unhelpful staff! I was looking for a pair of mens Dansko clogs which I know for a fact are available. The sales girl acted like I was imposing when I asked to try a pair on. They had virtually no selection. I ended up getting them at Zappos. Just another example of why brick and mortar stores with crappy sales people are going the way of the wagon wheel!
It is impossible to spend money here unless you get help from one of the staff-- and I couldn't get any of the three to pay attention to me long enough to spend the $200 in my purse. To be fair, I had a baby and a 3-year-old with me, so I didn't seem the right demographic. The store displays only the smallest available shoe of each style available; only the attendants know which larger sizes are in stock and then bring them out. Since I couldn't get help, I couldn't find out whether anything in my size was available. Additionally, I am a women's size 10.5 and for most sizes, and they only stock whole--not half-- sizes up to size 10. On a few brands, they also stock size 11. I tried repeatedly to ask for shoes to try on around my target size, but finally gave up when my 3-year-old's attention span wore out 20-30 minutes later. Prices are obviously a bit more than online, but I was willing to pay the extra since I could try them on in store and (theoretically) get assistance from knowledgeable staff. If you happen to be the "correct" demographic, it could be worth a try. Easily accessible by bus, but parking would be problematic for cars.
Don't shop online for brands like Birkenstock, Docs, Superga, Hunter, Blundstone, Vans and so many more! Support bricks n mortar!! Great service, great selection and decent return policy.
