Great park for just about anything. There's a nice playground for kids and there's tons of grass to chill or picnic in.
Great playground, always full of kids of all ages and from all backgrounds. Also hosts well-supplied farmer's markets from spring to autumn. Located at the base of the Blackstone Blvd walking/jogging path, and not far from a good little shopping strip on Hope Street.
Nice place to stroll. Love getting ice cream/sorbet/smoothies from Three Sisters and then walking home through this park and the jogging path.
Lippitt Memorial Park is between the Hope Street and Blackstone Blvd Areas. Eventhough the maintenance is not steady the 6 acares are a respite from the day.
This park almost got three stars for a broken slide that needs to be fixed. But the grounds and other playground equipment are in good shape. Lots of different features for toddlers to play with here. Sandbox, wheels and gears and good toddler swings. Lots of green grass for dogs and babies 'n blankets. Pretty decent park all around. It's also nearby the Wildflour bakery and cafe which makes for a good pit stop before or after playtime.
